I bought this product because someone on YouTube said that she had been using it for six years for eyelash growth, and she did indeed have exceptionally long and beautiful eyelashes. (She has written her own review, and as of my writing this, it is the top review here).
I knew going in that this would be a long-term project and I would have to be patient to see results, so I wasn’t discouraged when I wasn’t noticing any difference after one month.
I should mention at this point that I was not only using the castor oil on my eyelashes, but also on my eyebrows, as well as around my hairline (especially at my temples). For my eyelashes, I put one good-sized drop on my fingertip, press my other fingertip to it, so that I have half a drop per hand, and then massage it into the roots of my top and bottom lashes. Then I apply another drop to my finger, redistribute it as before, and massage it into the roots of my eyebrows. I do this before bed, because it does make your eyes feel sticky and weird.

My 84 yr young mom uses this on her eye lashes and I could see a huge difference for her, so I bought some to try. I’m 55. Application can be tricky but I found it easier to pull applicator out and scrape the brush against opening of the bottle to remove excess oil- a lot of it so you are left with a “moist” amount on the brush_you don’t need a lot. I sometimes dab the brush on paper towel. Then I apply to eyelashes gently and sparingly. I do this at night before bed and in the morning, after I wash my face. If I’m wearing make up that day, I apply it after make up (I don’t wear mascara or false lashes so this acts as an extra touch to strengthen, lengthen and hydrate my lashes)
I can see a change, not drastic but I see they do hydrate my lashes which helps keep them from falling out and darken or stand out as well. I don’t wear mascara or false lashes bcz both bother my eyes. I don’t like “the feeling” both give. So I hoped applying this would help. I’d say it does work but takes weeks of daily use to start seeing a change. So be consistent with applying and patient to see results.

I’ve used for months now on my face. About 2x a week I take a few drops and spread on my face including eyebrows which are thinning. Love how soft it makes my face plus my eyebrows are looking fuller. But also I take a few drops and rub into my feet including my rough heels. They’ve transformed into very soft and nice looking heels! I walk barefoot on tile floor all day so that causes roughness and calluses. My pedicure lady is always yelling at me to wear socks lol. But not anymore! This quality oil has a lot of potential.
